A few years ago, I hired Maine Tree Company to take a look at and trim a 250-year-old Maple Tree which extended over both my and my neighbor’s house. Occasionally, a dead branch would fall and with my neighbor’s purchase of a classic convertible, I was a bit concerned about an errant limb falling on it. Avery, at Maine Tree, took a good look at the tree and agreed to take on the project. Upon closer inspection when he climbed the tree, he was a bit pessimistic about the long term future of the tree and advised that it be taken down. At this time I was unwilling to take this majestic maple down and Avery and his crew did a great job of trimming it up and cleaning up after themselves.

A few years later and the tree declining at a rate that it was necessary to have it taken down. I was absolutely impressed with the work that was done. The crew showed up on time and what took 250 years to grow was totally gone from my property by noon. Only thing left was a stump which was cut close to the ground. Over the years, I have had various tree companies work on different trees on my property. None of them compared to the quality work which was done by Maine Tree Company.

Some of the limbs that needed removal were in a tricky spot over the garage, and his crew were able to remove them skillfully & safely. Avery and his crew came to take down some very large pines for us, climbing the pine next to our septic and dropping it perfectly without damaging our leach field. We recently had some tree work done by Maine Tree Company – we had 7 trees limbed that were encroaching on our house (in fact, we had one maple that was literally lying on our roof). Avery and Jim did an outstanding job of expertly trimming back these trees so that there was adequate clearance while maintaining the shape of the trees. Where limbs were touching the house, they skillfully removed them without hardly brushing the house. When they finished, they did an impeccable job of cleaning up. They certainly respected our property. The best way I can summarize the job they did is to say when they left our yard, you wouldn’t know they had ever been here.

We are very pleased and quite impressed with the quality of work of Maine Tree Company. It’s nice to know if we have need of some tree service in the future, we now have someone we can trust to do the job right. We highly recommend Maine Tree Company for any tree services you might have.

Great job all! All of our requests were done perfectly and left the property super clean and neat. Extremely fair pricing and even did some extra needed cutting at no extra charge. We asked to leave some leftover dry wood for firewood, Maine Tree left a nicely stacked pile on the edge of the yard for us to burn. Incredible work and fast turnaround! Thanks so much!
